APRIL 5 & 6, 2008: LA FURIA DEL FLAMENCO at the Jack Guidone Theater located at the Joy of Motion Dance Center in Friendship Heights, Washington, DC
Join Furia Flamenca with guitarists, Torcuato Zamora and Guillermo Christie, and singers Margarita Ossorio and Jorge Porta for an exciting evening of flamenco performances. Come and enjoy all the passion, fire, and elegance captured in la furia del flamenco (the fury of flamenco). Two shows, Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 7 PM. Don't wait - buy your tickets soon! March 24, 2008:  Winter Classes Begin at Joy of Motion Dance Center - Register Now!
Back by popular demand a 5-week course of Flamenco Theory and Practice. This will be the SAME class taught during the winter semester. The class will focus on theory with some palmas and dance exercises. Interested students should be aware that the class will NOT include a lot of dancing but will rather be in the form of a lecture with follow-on exercises. Palos covered include: Alegrias, Bulerias, Solea and Seguiriyas.

Get ready for the Feria de Sevilla taking place on April 20, 2008 at the grounds of the Strathmore Performing Arts Center in North Bethesda, MD. Come and learn or review ALL four Sevillanas during this 5 week course at the Joy of Motion Dance Center. Class will be held Saturdays at 3:30 starting March 29, 2008.

Additional beginner through advanced classes will continue to be taught by Furia Flamenca company members among various dance studios in VA, MD, and DC.
